let me tell you a story about shoes like these: i love them but any time i wore sneakers that looked at all cool 2 my school i got made fun of because i’m too white to wear sneakers and if i’m too white to wear sneakers i’m going to bet like 80% of the people who reblogged these are as well ok just sayin
I dunno man, I wore a lot of whacky shoes while in high school (junior high too!) and I mostly got compliments. I also look like a white person.
In the eighth grade I had a really clunky pair of green/camo Timberland boots and wore them about every day. What I didn’t realize was that brand was mostly popular with the school’s rather large black and hispanic population, but I was never made fun of for being “too white”. Kids kept admiring my shoes and going “oh man, nice Timbs!”
I wore cowboy boots all through high school and also knee high Missy Elliot boots. People just didn’t bother me.
But I’m also kinda tall and I think people thought I was scary? And every day I wore enough chunky silver rings to smash all a person’s teeth out. So yeah, there’s that :x
Anyway, I would rock those Cosmic shoes.
